However, there are many exercises in soccer drills for kids which facilitate the training of young kids become superstars. Always keep in mind the fact that kids must enjoy playing soccer if their interest is to be retained in the game. If their level of interest is not maintained, they feel discouraged to play. Kids try to find ways to disintegrate with the sport. So have patience and don’t make them feel obligated to play.
Most of the kid’s play the game because their parents want them to while others plays for sheer enjoyment. Neither of them feels motivated by rewards or recognition. They may take a considerable amount of time but are sure to appreciate the value of joint effort and regularity. They will also understand that only when they respect others will they get respect.
Here, it is vital that young boys in youth soccer drills are made aware of the new regulations. This is so as they may not be acquainted with them and learn them at their own pace. Also, it makes sense to involve the kids in decision making process before you introduce anything new. This allows the kids to understand the system and accept the changes willfully.
As the coach, it is also mandatory for you to instill some moral teachings to the kids. For this, you should observe the kids performance individually. You should make sure that all boys spend ample time on the ground and that you praise them wherever due. Along with this, it’s of equal importance that those who fail to comply with the stated rules are adequately punished.
This makes the kids feel answerable for what they do.
